Hi, I’m Charlie — a Mental Health Practitioner and Senior Registered Alcohol and Drug Specialist with a passion for walking alongside people on their journey toward recovery and wellbeing. I specialize in working with co-existing disorders and support individuals through goal setting, treatment planning, and tailored therapeutic modalities to help them build the tools they need to thrive.

I’ve been described as “direct but with heart.” I bring compassion, empathy, and kindness into every conversation, paying close attention to the details that matter. I believe in the power of nourishing, honest dialogue, and there is nothing more rewarding to me than witnessing people become empowered and take charge of their lives — no matter the obstacles they’re facing.

My experience spans both residential treatment centres, community-based work, youth services including a pivotal role at the Drug Treatment Unit at Arohata Women’s Prison. Supporting wāhine through their recovery and healing journey in that environment was incredibly meaningful and affirmed my commitment to this work.Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here — to listen, support, and walk beside you toward lasting change.
